Mommy's Martini of the Day!

Ok, so, everyone, by now, knows my passion about good Vodka. My loyalty. My love. My obsession.

Today, I'm going to be a rebel and try something *GASP* new. I'm trying my luck with Whisky, at the suggestion of a Facebook Follower. It sounds ridiculously delicious and since my second obsession to Vodka is caramel, I'm definitely onboard for this! Thank you, Jennifer!



Caramel Apple

3oz Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Whisky
2oz Dekuyper Sour Apple Pucker
1oz Apple Cider/Juice

Combine ingredients and shake well over ice. Pour into a martini glass rimmed with cinnamon sugar.




Caramel Sunset

2oz Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Whisky
3oz Orange Juice (pulp free)
1oz grenadine
curled orange rind or Maraschino cherry

Slowly pour the grenadine first, followed by the whiskey and finally the OJ, over the back of a spoon. This will create a layered look! Garnish with the curled orange rind on the rim or drop a cherry in the bottom before pouring in the ingredients.
